Where's the first tooth?!

I was trying to take a picture of Immanuel's first tooth so I deliberately made him cry!But I still didn't managed to snap one coz its still so small!Naughty mummy.....tralalalala.....!

Immanuel's 9th mth assessment

Little Immanuel is ever so happy.Just being with him really charges me up and I'll just forget my exhaustion.We are at Ah Yat Restaurant and he had half a pork roast bun.I love my baby so much.I'm so afraid I'll over-protect him sometimes but thank God there's always Dabo around to stabilize everything!

After that at 3pm,we went for Immanuel's 9th mth assessment at CCK Polyclinic.He is 9.56kg 76cm long and with a head cir. 46.5cm.He is a >75% BB.He didn't respond well in his right ear today so we had to go back 2 weeks later to assess again.But I know he is alright because he is Jesus beloved boy.Hip Hip Amen!

Ergo Baby Carrier

I bought an Ergo baby carrier today at Metro Paragon.I'm so excited abt it coz it's what I've been looking for.(It is rather expensive at $151.20 but guess it will be worth it coz I'll be bringing him out so often.)
1)It can be used as front,back and hip carry;
2)It is made of thick fabric (instead of the thick padded type) so that makes it ideal for trekking in our weather;
3)It can be used from newborn up to five yrs old (or 40lbs)!Isn't that cool?!
I have not tried it on Immanuel but I pray he will like it.

Immanuel is 9 mths old today!

Wow!Time really flies....my little darling Immanuel is 9mths old today!I can hardly believe it.He weighs approx. 9.5kg and is still drinking 180ml of milk every 3hrs!Even after he had porridge.Daddy was quite shocked by his appetite.We had a 'red carpet' lunch today at YWCA.We actually had our first meal at 3pm!I wonder how many parents experienced this????

Outing w Cutie Dylan!

Today we went for a late lunch w Dawn & little Dylan at Ben & Jerry's.After that, we pop over to Go Go Bambini to take a look at the place.It had a small play area for babies/toddlers (must remember to wear socks thou).The boys seemed to have fun except when a few older kids came over to play in their safe haven.The older kids were naturally more rowdy and we were so afraid they will hurt our little ones!Other than that,it seemed like a pretty good place and I think I will bring Immanuel back there again.There is a cafe inside as well and we could have dined there but we din know about it at first.Immanuel behaved himself very well today and I am very proud of him.Poor little Dylan was having a slight runny nose n cough but other than that,he is much more active than a normal baby!

Immanuel's little habit

Immanuel has a little habit of pinching his right ear every now and then.Dun know when & how he developed this but I think its cute!

D*/% flu!

I've been hit by the flu bug for the last 4 days and have not recovered until today.I was put on MC on last Thursday and Friday.Then, to make matters worse, on Saturday morning, I received a call from aunty Susan that Immanuel had runny nose and cough!(((Looks like the devil is all out to get me, huh?Fear not,I will fight the good fight of faith and believe our immune system will be even stronger after this.)))Dabo and I quickly brought him to KKH Children's Emergency for diagnosis.Thank Abba Father that he did not have fever and his lungs are clear.He was given nasal drops and cough mixture.I was told that Immanuel hated the nasal drops and would zap away in his walker the minute he sees my aunty coming to him!Little smart guy...... I had willingly quarantined myself from him for the last three days and missed him terribly.The good news is that Immanuel has recovered from his runny nose today.I was hoping to bring him home tonight but looks like I'd better not. : (

Immanuel at The Pines Club

Dabo gotta work today so we did not attend church service.Instead, we brought Immanuel for a swim with his little aunties - Metis & Melanie, at the club.He thoroughly enjoyed himself.

Its exactly our dear Ainsley birthday today and she is seven years old.We bought her a lamb pie and cheese sticks from US Doggy bakery this morning.After singing her a birthday song,she was allowed to finish her pie and one cheese stick.
