Tiramisu Le Petite Pleasure


I made this dessert using the recipe that a colleague gave me for a party at my place.It was so ez n exciting as its my first time making a tiramisu!It had always occurred to me that only seasoned cooks can do this but its not true!!!All my guests love it.What else can I say????! : )
Tiramisu Le Petite Pleasure

Ingredients:
500g Mascarpone cheese
200g Sugar
6 Eggs
Lady fingers (quantity to be used depends on size of container)
Coffee Black
Kahlua/Baileys (your preference)
Cocoa powder/Milo powder (your preference)

Directions:
1. Separate egg yolks and egg white in 2 mixing bowls.

2. The mixing bowl with egg yolks, mix in the sugar, followed by the mascarpone cheese -mix well.

3. The mixing bowl with egg whites, whisk until it is fuffed/stiffed up and leave it aside.

4. Fold in the egg whites into the egg yolks mixture.
5. For the bottom layer: Dip the lady fingers in the coffee and place it in the container, pour in a some of the cheese mixture prepared earlier.

6. For the top layer: Dip the lady fingers in the kahlua/baileys and place it in the container, pour in the remaining mixture.

7. Refrigerate overnight.
8. Sieved the cocoa powder/Milo at the top before serving.

Tip: I used 150g of sugar and find that it is just right for my taste.
