As you have heard or read abt the recent disclosure of someone from our church drawing a annual salary of ard $500,000 and above. Although, no name was mentioned as to who received this pay package, many people have speculated that this person is non other than our senior Pastor Prince.
I would like to say let's not be quick to fuss and criticize Pastor Prince and his family. Because if we do, we are acting no different from the people of the world , ain't we? As children of GOD, we should strive to earnestly to guard and keep the harmony and oneness of the Spirit. Think about it deeper, would you rather this amount of money land in the hands of terrorists? Or someone who supports nuclear warfare and creates havoc for all of us? Anything is possible.
We should thank GOD that our church and our pastors are prospering - living from glory to glory. Would you rather our church pastors asking and hinting for donations during every Sunday service? Would you have continued to attend church if all you see is lack and poverty week after week, year after year? Isn't it so depressing to still feel poor and hopeless even on Sundays after going through the world's 'rubbish' from Mondays to Saturdays?
How about we try to stand on God's side and see the picture again? Do you think this amount is a lot in HIS kingdom? <> Personally, I find it comforting to know that Christians can be R-I-C-H too. Don't you? The devil has deceived us long enough to think that all Christians must be humble AND P-O-O-R. Yes, my Bible says we should be humble ; but nowhere did my Bible says we have to be POOR. What did your Bible say? There are a lot of non-believers who are very very RICH and everyone thinks its ok. Why is that? I think it is better for Christians to become rich so that we can build buildings and churches to get more people saved in the name of JESUS CHRIST. We have FORBES and FORTUNE 500 magazines to list the world's top richest people but how come we do not have magazines that publish the world's bottom 500 poorest people? It shows that it is human nature to sit up and listen when you have MONEY. Admit it - no one will pay 100% attention to what you have to say when you are poor. How then can we spread the good news of JESUS if we are poor? I can tell you for sure that no one will buy your testimony and believe what JESUS did to redeem us. Because no one will believe a poor GOD. Don't forget, GOD made us in HIS image. We represent HIM. Period.
Anyway, who been hurt and made poorer by Pastor Prince's messages? I have benefitted much from his revelations of the BIBLE. I have been blessed much more than I was before I attended this church. My family relationships and my personal welfare has been great. My relationship with GOD has improved tremendously. That is what that matters, isn't it? Instead, we should applaud Pastor Prince and his family for their courage to publishing this detail. You think they didn't see this coming?
The devil is striving to create havoc in our church, our families and our workplace all the time. The devil is clearly coming against our church big time. This is the time to break the devil's evil ideas and support our fellow Christian brothers and sisters. Let's be determined to stand together as ONE body of Christ and crushed the devil's head. Let's be doers of the WORD and not nay-sayers.
Be Blessed.
