We are on our way to church.(noticed the little blue-black mark on his forehead?He bumped his head onto the table while we were having dinner at the foodcourt last evening.)Today,Pastor Prince will be praying over our olive oil.My lovely mum prepared 3 btls for each of us.Ime-nua is wearing the pair of jeans that I bought for him from Tokyo.I think he looks very good in them.I love him so much.He is such a blessing to all of us : )

Passport Photo

We are trying to capture an acceptable passport photo of Ime-nua (his name in jap).He refused to co-operate with us and showed us his bored and monkey faces instead.In the end,we summited one that we hope will be acceptable by ICA.If it is rejected,then Ime-nua might not be able to go with us to Bintan when Dabo goes there for his training.We are keeping our fingers crossed.......

Our Japanese lesson starts today!

こにちわ。Today we started our first lesson under the tutorage of せんせい Chen Yen.She is very serious and hopes we will be ready to sit for the exam at the end of the year.We were taught あ、い、う、え、お etc.There's quite a lot to learn and I hope I'll do well.Dabo and I also tuned in to the FM92.4 every morning to listen to the Japanese channel.

I don't know what's wrong with Immanuel tonight, he simply refuse to go to sleep!And we all have to go to work tom!!!Maybe its the sugar from the japanese egg custard I gave him just now?!Or the ketchup at MacDonald's?Whatever.....just sleep!!!!!

Hay Dairies (Goat Farm)

This morning we went for an outing w our cg friends to goat farm followed by lunch at Bollywood Veggies.It was a very warm and humid day.It was also the first time I see how milking of goats was done.Interesting.The smell of mutton was very strong too.Lunch at Bollywood was alright except for the owner,Ms Ivy Singh.I find her a very bitter woman despite her wealth.She refered to almost everything and everyone as stupid except herself.(She even said stupid PAP blah,blah,blah.If ppl hates Singapore or the PAP so much,then why not get involved in politics or leave the country?)She is so rude that she even said our fellowshipping is a waste of time.Her father might have taught her a lot of
things,but respect for others is definitely one of her
virtue.If not for her,I would have enjoyed my lunch
better.

Second Assesment

We brought Immanuel for his second time assessment today.(He failed the hearing test in his right ear the last time.)Thank God for HIS mercy and grace upon our little baby;Immanuel passed with flying colours!I could almost see the rainbow in the examination room!The nurse tried many methods to distract him but he stayed very alert.The nurse even commented that his motor skills are very good!What a relieve for any parent to receive such good report.After that,we brought him to GGB and he played until he was very tired. Hallelujah!

Curry Chicken Dinner

I had a craving for a fiery curry chicken so I prepared some the night before while Immanuel was sleeping.I cooked some rice for Dabo and I had some baguette.It was yummy!We are both very satisfied. : )

Daily Savings Bank

We decided to put in 50cents for both Ainsley and Immanuel on a daily basis. Then when 'emergency' comes, we'll take the money out to spend.I recycled the candy floss container that my bank gave out this afternoon.

Koala Bear-by

We brought Immanuel to the National Museum this afternoon and then to Go Go Bambini.Immanuel has been extremely "clingy" of late and simply refused to be left alone.He doesn't even want to be carried by anyone else if I'm around.When we brought him to GGB last friday,he seemed terrified.He din even wanna touch anything and juz cling on to me like a koala bear all the time.He was not like this the first time when we went w Dawn and Dylan.So today,we bring him back to GGB again and he behaved the same way.When I tried to put him down, he'll start whining non stop.Its only when there's no one else in the play area that he starts
to explore the surroundings.
Now I'm starting to worried if I'm
"under-exposing" him to new people,children or
new places. But I thot I've been bringing him out
almost every weekend for hours!!!!
Anyone w any advice?

1 Day Trip to Kelong Acheh

Today Dabo and I had a wonderful trip to Kelong Acheh in Mersing,Malaysia.We woke up at 5am and gather at One 15 at 6:45am.The kelong was beautiful and the scenary was breathtaking.We reached Singapore at 12:30am.
